OVERVIEW
Position Title: Designer
Position Summary
The Designer will possess Adobe Suite skill set (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and can deliver finished assets in various platforms including print ready PDF’s.
A creative team player, the Designer will be able to multitask and think strategically across different brands, and projects.
The best candidate for this position will bring a strong portfolio in graphic design including significant experience in magazine and directory print design, event signage, and social media while effectively managing a high volume of projects simultaneously.
A portfolio is required for this application. We will not review applications without a portfolio.
An assessment will also be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
- Design magazine and directory layouts, event signage, multi-media, and digital media across multiple brands
- Cross collaboration within departments to relieve bandwidth
- Prep and package final design and multimedia files
- Plan design concepts, and deliver multiple variations
- Create mockups, proof of concepts and final design
- Obtain approvals by submitting proof of concepts for approval
- Prepares final assets utilizing best practices for each media
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
- Print Design Experience: Expertise with Adobe Suite print design software, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required
- Multimedia Experience: Working knowledge of Adobe Express, Premiere Pro, and After Effects preferred
- Brand Execution: Mastery of brand guidelines and styles
- Excel under tight deadlines: can handle multiple projects at once
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail without sacrificing quality
- Design Execution: Exceptional design skills, deliver unique, polished, high-caliber designs with limited direction
- Collaborative Communications: Team player with initiative and a positive can-do attitude. Flexible in a changing environment, open to feedback and able to quickly pivot as needed
- Cross-Collaboration: Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration across different portfolios and brands, including print directories, digital assets, marketing and sales assets, and event signage
Additional Requirements
- Capable of designing brand attributes across various platforms, including digital/web, print, email, video, social, co-marketing, etc.
- Self-motivated, self-directing and comfortable in a high-velocity environment
- Video editing, GIF animation, digital interactive assets
