Vice President, Business Development Integrated Solutions

Job Summary

Dialog Direct, a Qualfon company, boasts a positive, high-performance culture with a mission to help change lives!  We are adding a VP of Business Development, focusing on growing our Integrated Sales Service, with an emphasis on providing leads to insurance providers, selling customer acquisition service to a wide range of clients, and selling our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to etailers.  This position reports to our Senior Vice President for Marketing Services and Integrated Sales Service.

Compensation: this position will be paid on a salaried basis with a pay range of $125,000 - $150,000 annually depending on prior experience. This base pay is subject to all applicable statutory deductions and authorized withholdings as required by law. This base pay is also subject to any authorized deductions to contribute toward the employee’s portion of benefits premiums and/or 401(k) contributions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Work with management to develop and execute the Go-to-Market Plan for the specific verticals, including but not limited to the ones above
  • Sell our solutions to key decision makers within those vertical markets
  • Drive complex and consultative sales involving multiple product groups and divisions that include:
    • Health Insurance Payers, Payees, and Brokers
    • Warranty and Home Service Providers
    • Web-based retailers
    • Analytical and Data Services
    • Online ordering portal for sales and marketing organizations
  • Successfully navigate politics within organizations (external and internal)
  • Drive all business development activities including opportunistic strategies, lead generation via aggressive client-based prospecting, opportunity qualification, needs assessments, deal management, competitive positioning, , proposal and presentation preparation/delivery, and contract development and execution
  • Identify, organize and solution the resources required to close deals
  • Provide post-proposal issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Must be a seasoned business originator with 5+ years of experience with a proven sales record in selling new business to the CSO and CMO position
  • Must be a subject matter expert in solutions for companies requiring multi-faceted solutions including leads, sales performance, and customer ata solutions
  • Must have working knowledge and experience in the insurance, e commerce, and after market warranty:
    • Solutions for rapid response to companies needing leads
    • Understanding of how organizations make decisions around sales support and outsourcing sales functions
    • Multi touch solutions that involve working with C Suite executives and positioning solutions that fit budget and sales goal needs
    • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) are a must
    • Understanding Lead IQ, sales loft, and linked in sales navigator is a plus
  • Must be initiative-taking, have the internal drive to continue prospecting even when not getting traction immediately and have the capacity to know how to approach each customer and each functional area within target companies and industries
  • Must be an exceptional communicator with a formidable team orientation and a skill for marketing integrated marketing solutions to help drive market share and profitability
  • A thorough understanding of B2B sales (channels, field sales, and/or enterprise sales), demand generation and go-to-market strategies & methodologies for prospects
  • Knowledge of trends and market developments
  • Must have the ability to translate how our solutions can impact a client’s ROI
