Job Summary

Main objectives and duties:

1. Develops and implements a marketing plan for the company at a local level.

  • To deliver creative marketing concepts, scripts and storyboards for the company.
  • To produce copy write for new campaigns and/ or revamping existing ones, storyboarding for videos and more.
  • Managing allocated budgets effectively and in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Writing copy for marketing collateral, including promotional items, emails and the website.

2. Responsible for marketing projects and campaigns through various methods   

  • Identifies new and innovative means of marketing the company in a growing and very competitive market
  • Maintains and measures social media campaigns across all social media platforms.
  • Manages the image library.
  • Identifies key target audiences and new marketing channels for the company.

3. Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements

  • Coordinates and organizes all trade show arrangements such as registration, shipping, promotion and travel.
  • Assists in the development and execution of corporate events.
  • Provides support during customer visit and external audits by preparing conference rooms and facilitating meals.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of all marketing activities.

4. Develops marketing links through marketing partners.

  • Identifies opportunities for planning and organizing the company’s presence at relevant external events.
  • Works with contractors and suppliers to deliver consistently high performance.

Area of expertise (Skills)

College Graduate preferably with a Marketing Degree or any related courses.

Other Skills and Experiences (Min)

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in marketing role
  • Experience of planning and managing successful marketing campaigns across all media
  • Budgeting experience
  • Experience in liaising with other organizations such as graphic designers, publishers, conference organizers and printers
  • Experience in writing articles, adverts, newsletters and etc.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and effective time management skills.
  • Good ICT skills including software packages e.g. Word, Excel and design softwares including Photoshop, Illustrator and etc.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Driving creativity and a strong eye for detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of social trends and commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge on advertising strategies, marketing techniques and channels.
