ASSOCIATE, FACILITIES

OVERVIEW

The Facility Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional workplace environment. This role involves supporting daily facility operations, performing basic maintenance tasks, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

 

 



RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides pro-active support to the Facilities Manager
To ensure that all site facilities, furniture & fixtures are well maintained and in good working order
Any other activity/function deemed necessary by immediate superior
Liaise with cleaning staff to ensure site facilities are maintained to an excellent standard
Regular monitoring and collecting of data for UPS, Gen Sets, HVAC, Furniture, CR’s.
Oversees key issuance for rooms, cabinets, doors, pedestals.
Oversees the issuance of ID’s to employees and ID related matters
2. Assist in monitoring internal/external facilities programs/projects
Assist facilities officer in monitoring any internal facilities projects/programs
Monitor in-house repair work
Assist Facilities Manager in monitoring external construction/repair projects
3. Responds to any facilities needs/ support the attainment of departmental goals and objectives in
order to meet internal and external customer requirements.
First level response to any facilities related needs/concerns by employees or other departments/groups
Establish good working relationship with concerned departments
4. Monitors and ensures integrity of site inventory
Receive and log incoming assets in the inventory system
Maintain integrity & accuracy of site asset inventory system
5. Assists in the supervision of the technical and housekeeping personnel.
6. Assists the Facility Supervisor, and Facilities Manager in determining and executing management
policies within his/her sphere of responsibilities.
